ToxiTest Calibration Simulator - for breathalisers

TOXITEST™ is a breath alcohol simulator which has been designed to provide a known air - alcohol mixture of precise concentration according to the standard solution used in order to calibrate or check-calibrate breath alcohol testing instruments.

DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD
The standard solution used in the TOXITEST™ is specially formulated to have an ethyl alcohol concentration, which will impart to the air an ethanol concentration equivalent to the calibration set point of the breath alcohol-testing instrument being used.

The TOXITEST™ unit heats and agitates the solution to keep it at constant temperature as indicated on the reference thermometer.

It thermostatically controls the temperature of the standard solution at 34 ± 0.2 °C which is equivalent to mouth temperature to provide a simulated breath sample of like density and composition.

TOUGH AND DURABLE UNIT
The TOXITEST™ is constructed of medical grade plastic and stainless steel to provide chemical resistance with anti-corrosion characteristics for lifetime use. Extensive internal sealing provides leak resistance.

Tripod legs provide stability and prevent tipping of the unit during use. Convenient screw knob fastens the solution container (jar) to the top of the unit. A fill line is molded into the solution container to provide a proper liquid level.

Air-In & Vapor-Out markings are properly indicated.

USING THE TOXITEST™
When the TOXITEST™ unit reaches operating temperature the ready light illuminates.
Simply pass air through the inlet hose to produce a proper sample of air - alcohol mixture for analysis by the breath alcohol-testing instrument to compare with the expected value for the standard solution being used.
